MAIGRET AND THE TAVERN BY THE SEINE – Georges Simenon, 1932

My second Maigret mystery (although I am not yet reading them in published order). Read hot on the heels of the first as I enjoyed that one so much.
This time a small group of people used to enjoying their weekends outside Paris become the object of Maigret’s interest.
As before, there is a finite number of suspects and a certain sequence of events but the ending eluded me.

I’m so impressed that I’ve bought more novels already.
