MY FATHER’S PLACES – Aeronwy Thomas, 2010

Aeronwy Thomas takes the reader on a tour of the places which shaped her father’s work and gives an insightful look
at his character. She also provides us with the wider picture; the other family members, friends and neighbours who helped to fill the gaps when her parents were physically or emotionally unavailable.

There are glimpses of Dylan but much more of the book is concerned with the landscape of the author’s childhood, although fond memories of sharing a book with her father after his weekly bath naturally take centre stage.
