THE GREAT GATSBY - F Scott Fitzgerald, 1925

Here we are again. It’s summer so it must be time for The Great Gatsby but I don’t re-read it merely out of habit; I re-read it because I love it.

It captures a world I would inhabit although age and personal fortune (or not enough of it) keep pushing it further into the distance. I keep it as a dream, like Gatsby himself, watching the green light on the opposite dock.
