THE VOICE OF THE VIOLIN – Andrea Camilleri, 1997

The fourth in the series. I wish I could have read them in order but I wasn’t expecting to read so many, so thought I would just be ‘dipping in’ to the adventures of the Sicilian detective.
Again, a simple murder becomes interwoven with blackmail, cover-ups lies, deceit and finally, a solution which was there all along.

I have never been to Italy but I feel as though I know it well from the little details which bring the setting alive.
