THE CASE OF THE LATE PIG – Margery Allingham, 1937

The Campion novel told by Campion, an experimental technique for Allingham which is only partly successful. There is no real reason why it should be so. Even the failed relationship between Albert and Janet would be made clearer by an outside narrator.

But the story is excellent. Pig Peters is dead and buried. Then he is found dead all over again. Allingham created some of the best mystery stories of all time and deserves to be better recognised.
