DEATH IS NOW MY NEIGHBOUR – Colin Dexter, 1997

I love the Morse books and this is one of the best of them. A classic ‘whodunnit’ combined with a certain time and place makes this such a good read.  A young woman is shot through her back window but was she the intended victim? A ponytail can be a dangerous adornment in Oxford.
