TENNESSEE WILLIAMS, EVERYONE ELSE IS AN AUDIENCE – Ronald Hayman, 1993

A gem for anyone who loves Tennessee Williams.

Hayman shows how fiction reflected life, in many ways a sad life but it is a book for serious students of the playwright; the sensational details which are often such a disappointing feature of biographies, are not over-emphasised but are reported in the context of the work itself. As such, it is informative and extremely interesting.
